Description

Wildcat Band Pastel was a commission piece I did for a customer that was on my UPS route years ago that worked at Arnold Palmer’s office in Latrobe, Pa. If I remember right she wanted this done for her daughter as a present. I borrowed all the items from her and staged this photo, now a pastel painting in the attic of my mother’s house at the time. It was an old farmhouse and I thought the lighting coming in the attic window would make a good backdrop. This was one of my earlier pastel paintings. All the blending of the pastel was done with a lady’s cosmetic eye liner only. I really enjoyed doing this piece and she was very pleased with it.
